Summary | This post-introductory course is intended for students who have successfully completed Foundation German Language 1 (ELCG07009 or ELCG07011) or Introductory German (ELCG07001 or ELCG07005) or have reached an equivalent standard (Standard Grade/GCSE). It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of German at Highers/A-level or above.
All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination. |

Learning Outcomes
Students will further develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in German. They will further develop knowledge of basic grammatical structures and a vocabulary of approximately 1000 high-frequency words and phrases.
