| Summary | Indicative course content
This module is undertaken in conjunction of the 40 credit VCS module. Students should define a chosen area of research that underpins studio and theoretical practice.
Aims of course
1 To propose and undertake a personal study plan with defined aims and objectives
2 Develop a body of research material that communicates a progression of ideas an awareness of current fine art practice.
3 To undertake critical analysis of a body of research material.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Clearly identify the conceptual areas of practice through personal exploration and research using appropriate methods.
- Present a body of work that shows the analysis and synthesis of the aims of individual studio practice.
- Demonstrate a focused range of organisational, verbal and presentational skills.
