SummaryThis post-beginners course is intended for students who have successfully completed Foundation German Language 2 (ELCG07008) or have reached an equivalent standard at CEFR level A2/1. It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of German at A-level or Advanced Highers. A placement test will be given at the First Class Meeting.

Following Foundation German 2 or Intermediate German, this course will further develop your knowledge of the language in a wide variety of situations using more complex vocabulary and grammar, to CEFR level A2+.

Special Arrangements This course is open to all students as a credit bearing course, or over and above their full credit load, as a non credit bearing course. DELC students may only take this course if it is over and above their full credit load, as a non credit bearing course. Visiting Students may only take this course for credits. Please note that auditing this course is not allowed. You must be enrolled as CE (Class and Assessment including centrally arranged exam).

The first class meeting will be the first class of the first week in the normal teaching room at the normal teaching time.
