SummaryBeing a successful anaesthetist is about more than drugs. In this course, students will examine some theoretical aspects of problem solving and the core non-technical skills (such as situation awareness and team working) important in theatre teams.
Course description - To demonstrate an understanding of approaches to problem solving
- To recognise appropriate non-technical skills behaviours in themselves and others
- To outline benefits and limitations of checklists used in theatre situations
- To discuss errors and approach to error prevention
- To describe principles of clinical audit
