Summary | This course is designed to provide an understand and appreciate the constraints and limitations of a given sensing and instrumentation system in a given application or range of application related to sensing, processing and AI for defence and security. |
Course description |
This course consists of five 2Cr modules, where each component addresses an individual application topic, including applications of sensors in industry, sensing with memristors, metrology and measurement, machine learning for sensing, and RF sensing, covering a range of technologies from the well-established to the mid-term future. The modules will be designed and delivered with our partners, and the structure enables flexible delivery as sensing technology evolves over the duration of the programme. Each component is partially by taught delivery, and partially by assignment.
