Summary | This course represents the extension and continuation of the Metrology course offered to student in Semester 1. Following on understanding the measurement science and techniques, students will have chance to learn how to enable the precision manufacturing with the accuracy of metrology they have learnt in Semester 1. This course will focus on the precision subtractive machining technologies,
on both traditional mechanical approaches and non-conventional approaches, e.g. chemical, thermal and photonic, etc. Lab demonstrations and practical work will be provided to enhance the students¿ learning experience. |
