Summary | This will train students on writing short and effective summaries of research articles, as well as working in a group to complete a task on a short timeline. |
Course description |
In this course, students will choose a research topic in Algebra, Geometry or Mathematical Physics, and self-organise into groups, monitored by the cohort lead, an academic staff member overseeing the working groups. Students will learn ¿ in addition to the mathematical content they choose ¿ how to self-organise, how to communicate the importance of the topic, how to maintain a working group webpage, and how to document what was accomplished.
