Summary	This course covers several fundamental topics in Geometry & Topology, providing a solid and broad foundation to the subject and its interactions with algebra and analysis. The course discusses the fundamental group and covering spaces, homology and studies differentiable manifolds.
Course description	The aim is to learn new things to get a broad education in the area as a basis for a wide range of PhD projects and for post-PhD employment. Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to: Thoroughly understand the applications of topology to the local and global geometry of manifolds. Solve problems involving homotopy groups, singular homology, and numerous functorial invariants of topological spaces.
