Progression to Honours requires (1) an *average* of 50% across both the mandatory Philosophy courses standardly taken in the second year, Mind, Matter and Language (MML) and Knowledge and Reality (K&R) achieved at the first attempt and (2) a minimum of 40% in each course (MML and K&R) achieved at the first attempt

Year 4 Academic year: 2022/23, Starting in: August

The Philosophy dissertation MUST be taken in Final Year. Students can either do a single long 8000 word dissertation, or two 5000 word essays ( short dissertations).

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

If the two 5000 word essays are selected students should choose two courses from Philosophy Honours Programme Collection, Philosophy Honours Year 4, as available.
