Course description |
This course combines Introduction to Language Research (LASC11091) with one of the following Linguistics Research Design courses, as related to the student's degree:
- Sociolinguistic Research Design (LASC11095)
- Research Methods in Developmental Linguistics (LASC11127)
- Language Evolution in the Lab (LASC11124)
Those relevant Course Descriptions should be consulted for more information. Briefly, the course covers 'practical techniques for evaluating others' research, study design and data analysis, and effective communication of research findings' as well as skills, method, theory, and other aspects of linguistic research.
