Year 1 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: September

Notes:
To attain the MSc, candidates achieve 120 credits of taught courses and complete a dissertation worth 60 credits. The MSc can be completed over 2 - 6 six years part-time.
Students are required to complete a minimum of 40 credits every 2 years.

Students may enrol on campus-based courses if it is possible for them to attend the University. Please note that students enrolled on this programme would not be eligible to apply for a Tier 4 visa.

Courses can also be combined for the award of the Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits) or Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits).
Before selecting your courses, please ensure you have met with your Personal Tutor.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

It is strongly recommended that you take Developmental Well-being. If you choose Child Development in Practice, please be aware that this course is taught on campus and you must attend the university for the duration of the course. Please note that students enrolled on this programme would not be eligible to apply for a Tier 4 visa.

You must complete a total of 180 credits over the 2 - 6 year period to be awarded the MSc. Students achieve 120 credits of taught courses and complete a dissertation worth 60 credits.
