To consolidate an understanding and practice of a range of approaches to Intermedia within contemporary art (post 1945) 1945 is viewed in this instance as a useful cut off point as this date marks a shift in cultural, economical and political power.
Aims of course
1 To intergrate an understanding of Intermedia within individual practice.
2 To identify an appropriate context for individual practice.
3 To explore a range of appropriate Intermedia methodologies and strategies in reproduction of work.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Communicate individual ideas through production of Intermedia artwork in a coherent form, applying a personal developed practice.
- Identify and utilize a combination of external precedents and personal approaches to solve problems creatively.
- Evaluate work critically and in reference to the context of Intermedia Art practice.
