Summary | The aim of this course is to provide a suitably advanced introduction to Philosophy of Science for MSc students, with an interest in the subject area. The course is core to the MSc specialisation in Philosophy of Science and students will be exposed to a wide range of topics: from the logic of confirmation, to underdetermination of theory by evidence, from models and simulations in science, to scientific representation, among others.
This course will be shared with the undergraduate course Philosophy of Science (code to be confirmed).
