Summary | Food security does not exist in a vacuum. Actions to improve food security can have significant wider economic and environmental impacts. Similarly, policy in other areas (such as energy) can impact on food security. This module will examine some of the key interactions between food security and other policy areas. It will also introduce some of the key methods (macro-economic modelling, cost-benefit analysis and life-cycle analysis) that can be used to quantify policy impacts. |
