On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Critically appraise health promotion philosophy, principles and theory.
- Provide an ethical critique of the philosophy and theory of health promotion theory and practice.
- Apply critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis to issues which are at the forefront or are informed by developments at the forefront of knowledge and practice.
- Critically review, consolidate and extend knowledge, skills and practices and thinking in health promotion.
- Demonstrate a critical evaluation of recent research.
