Learning Outcomes
Thorough understanding of measure theory and theorems of convergence: Monotone and Dominated Convergence Theorems, Radon Nikodym theorem, L^p spaces, product measures, Riesz representation theorems, differentiation of measures. Appreciation of applications of abstract theory of measure to fractal sets and Hausdorff dimensions.
