Summary | The course enables students to explore a topic in-depth, by interrogating evidence to address questions identified by the student and relevant to their workplace and professional development. The topic will be selected in agreement with an allocated supervisor and will not cover substantive areas explored in other courses in the programme. Each student will meet with their course supervisor on 3 occasions (via Skype, phone, Collaborate or Instant Messaging). Students will also discuss their learning on the course with fellow students, through the Discussion Board (via Moodle).
Students may take their topic from this course as the focus of their dissertation, subject to the agreement of the Programme Director. However, students will not be allowed to reproduce any of the material they submit for their course assignment (see below), within their dissertations. |
