Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this course, the candidate should understand the major transboundary livestock diseases, including rinderpest and other epidemic diseases (foot-and-mouth disease, Rift Valley fever, African Swine fever and Avian influenza). Candidates will also be introduced to the regulatory requirements for international trade, as stipulated by OIE and WTO, and the control strategies recommended to keep these diseases at bay.
