Summary | This post-beginners course is intended for students who have successfully completed Foundation Spanish Language 2 (ELCH07010) or have reached an equivalent standard at CEFR level A2/B1. It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of Spanish at A-level or Advanced Highers. It is recommended that Students with Highers or AS-level or any other qualifications should contact the course organiser to have their language level established.

Course description |
Foundation Spanish 3 is the follow-up to the 40 hour Foundation Spanish 2 course. Students who have successfully completed Foundation Spanish 2 course or have an equivalent knowledge in the language will be ideally suited for this course. This course is not suitable for students who have Advanced Highers, A-Level, or knowledge above CEFR level A2. At the end of the course students should have reached approximately CEFR level A2+. Students wishing to continue learning Spanish will be eligible to join Spanish 1B ELCH08002 in the next academic year.

This course is open to all students as a credit bearing course, or over and above their full credit load, as a non credit bearing course. DELC students may only take this course if it is over and above their full credit load, as a non credit bearing course. Visiting Students may only take this course for credits.
Please note that auditing this course is not allowed. You must be enrolled as CE (Class and Assessment including centrally arranged exam). |
