Summary | This course will explore the relevant literature that provides the evidence base for the contemporary management of patients requiring removable prostheses. It will review the impact of ageing on the oral structures and treatment approaches that restore or improve function in partially or totally edentate patients; experience will be gained in the clinical management of such patients. |

Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this course, participants will:
1. Be able to make accurate diagnoses and design treatment plans that address a range of removable prosthodontics problems.
2. Have in-depth knowledge of denture design principles.
3. Gain knowledge of the management of an ageing population with dental needs.
4. Have knowledge of effects of tooth loss on function and how contemporary approaches may address these challenges.
