Learning Outcomes
Students will gain:
- knowledge of the methods used in the academic study of the Hebrew Bible;
- an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of these methods;
- insights into how Biblical Studies forms an integral part not only of theology, but also of the Humanities in general;
- a demonstrable ability to identify key terms and their meanings;
- demonstrable good judgement about how to judge the relative importance of items on course bibliographies.
