| Summary | This course will introduce students to the different modes of visualising the body at the gross level including plain film X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI imaging. It will also describe methods of enhancing images such as angiography, barium enemas. Barium swallows, PET scanning etc. |

- be able to differentiate one type of image from another and know under what circumstances each is preferentially used
