On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Gain a basic knowledge of normal human development.
- Relate the embryology to the organisation of the body as observed in the Human Anatomy courses.
- Appreciate how normal development can go wrong and how this manifests itself in commonly observed congenital abnormalities.
