This course consists of the preparation and delivery of a presentation outlining the main outcomes of the research project and their possible significance, novelty and limitations in relation to previous knowledge; and an oral (viva) defence of the written dissertation

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- The development of knowledge and understanding of current research topics in the field of Biomedical Sciences
- The development and demonstration of the ability to critically evaluate the outcomes of the research project in relation to current knowledge
- The development and demonstration of communication skills in presenting and discussing the outcomes of the research project with others
- The development and demonstration of the ability to work independently under the guidance of their supervisor(s) to achieve desired outcomes
