Summary | This course is only available to ECA students on degree programmes belonging to the School of Art.
This course will develop an enhanced understanding of methods of information gathering, the collation and editing of visual resources appropriate to your specialism. Drawing upon a focused body of resources and visual material you will refine a personal perspective in relation to your own work. Research methods and methodologies may include drawing, photography, models, notebooks and research into technical and conceptual processes.
Aims
1.To engage critically in specialist visual research in relation to art practice.
2.To consolidate and enhance an understanding of research that underpins projects and self initiated studio practice.
3.To test and evaluate materials, methods and processes in the refining of a personal visual language.
