Acronym : PPL-3-DsPrep-LS Field or library resarch on an approved topic, in preparation for the writing of a dissertation in the fourth year. The dissertation topic is not confirmed, nor a supervisor assigned, until the end of a student's third year of study. Entry Requirements? This course is not available to visting students. ? Pre-requisites : Students in their third year of study abroad in an approved curriculum which combines the study of a modern foreign language with Linguistics or English Language ? Prohibited combinations : Third-year Project in Language Sciences (U03199) If students take Year Abroad Work for Degrees in Modern European Languages and Linguistics or English Language (U04290) as well as this course, they must receive credit for courses taken abroad for U04290.
