The brief includes appropriate starting references and students are required to study individually using the internet, the library and any other available source information to accomplish the specified task. The course focuses on the study and evaluation of alternative approaches to water surface profile evaluation in relation to design flood estimation for two rivers with quite different characteristics. This is done through application of flood routing software. Entry RequirementsSubject AreasHome subject areaDelivery Information? Normal year taken : 4th year ? Delivery Period : Not being delivered Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The project is intended to be undertaken largely by personal study.
