On completion of this course, the student will be able to: Critically analyse the current methodologies used to express and purify proteins of biotechnological significance in recombinant systems Critically evaluate the use of different recombinant systems and purification mechanisms Describe, critique and perform techniques that are commonly used to express proteins in E.coli Critically analyse results from experimental data and write an accurate laboratory report using these results
