Learning Outcomes
| By the end of this course, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of the first Italian school of poetry in the vernacular, develop and apply techniques of analysis with critical understanding of basic literary forms such as the sonnet and the novella, and form awareness of the key role played by Sicilian culture in the development of Italian literary history.
