| Summary | This course is ONLY for those students taking Portuguese as a named part of an honours degree and it aims at developing and consolidating advanced language skills. |  
| Course description | In this course, students will be familiar with a variety of registers and complex grammatical structures of Portuguese language. Teaching will be based on a selection of course materials raging from literary to journalistic with thematic emphasis on current events relating to the Portuguese-Speaking world. Students should prepare the materials provided in advance of each class. They will be introduced to advanced comprehension, summary writing, translation and composition. |
