| Summary | This course builds on the MBA Capstone project and provides an opportunity for the student to combine an internship with a company and a capstone project. |  
| Course description | The student(s) will be engaging on a paid 8-week work assignment sourced by the MBA programme. Alongside this internship the MBA students will be expected to draw upon aspects of their learning over the course of the programme. The output for this will be to develop a 7,500 word reflective report which will focus on the relationship between specific elements of the theory learned throughout their core courses and their experience working within an organisation with a new-found perspective having studied on the MBA. |

Learning Outcomes 
| On completion of this course, the student will be able to: 
        Contribution to specific issues as defined by the sponsoring organisation, through a combination of practical involvement, incorporation of theoretical concepts from the MBA programme and reflective practice, which includes both pre programme management experience, and in programme learning.Plan, design and execute a reflective report, which meets the criteria of (1) above.Communicate, via the report, complex ideas and information in a coherent and structured manner.Contribute to the current/future progress of the sponsoring organisation.To contribute to knowledge through the internship Capstone pathway. |
