Summary	This course is offered to online learners on our MSc programmes concerning Health and Social Care. This Critical 10 credit course allows students the opportunity to explore a topic in depth with associated research and literature. The topic will be relevant to their workplace in their own country or fit with their professional development plans. It will cover an area not substantially included in their core and option courses within the Programme. The topic will be selected in agreement with the course organiser who will supervise the student's progress. Topic may include (but is not restricted to): Digital Health Telehealth Electronic health records Electronic prescribing systems Implementation and adoption processes Evaluations of complex interventions Sociotechnical evaluation approaches International approaches to implementing computerised healthcare systems Students may choose a topic from this course as their dissertation topic with the agreement of the Programme Director. This may help the student by enabling them to continue researching an area of interest and relevance within their organisation.
