        - Obtain the basic concepts of chemical compounds.
 - Understand the basic principles of thermodynamics.
 - Understand the basic concepts of reaction kinetics, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry.
 - Learn the basic technical principles of some characteristic methods for biological molecules.
