Learning Outcomes 
| On successful completion of this course, a student will have: 1) achieved a clear understanding of the overall structure of Schleiermacher's The Christian Faith and of its particular methodology;
 2) gained a detailed knowledge of selected doctrinal loci as treated in The Christian Faith, along with their wider implications;
 3) enhanced their critical ability to engage and evaluate the selected readings in the course of preparing for and participating in seminars;
 4) developed their skills in both presentation and writing tasks in the course of the seminar discussions and the course assignment.
