Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Undertake critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of ideas, concepts, information from different sources, s and issues in mechanical engineering practice.
- Understand different aspects of the practical application of engineering practice through hand-on activities and demonstrations.
- Understand the Personal Development Plan process and be able to apply the process to the current stage of professional development.
- Understand the different routes through their degree programme (e.g BEng or MEng) and the possibilities on graduation.
- Understand the strategic management, health and safety, ethical and environmental issues facing industry, in accordance with current professional codes of practice and social pressurees.
