Aims:
1. To introduce students to the techniques of recording, analysis, and supporting research.
2. To create an awareness of appropriate standards in recording and analysis

This course combines considerable on-site instruction with supporting lectures and project seminars.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Acquire skills for carrying out relevant historical research.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the variety of recording methods, and competence in applying them to survey and analysis of historic buildings.
- Display organisational, verbal and presentational skills specific to Building Analysis.
