Short assignments will be designed to give students practice with the research techniques discussed in class. 
 
The course is assessed as pass/fail with coursework that students bring to class for discussion and assessment together (e.g., questions from readings and practice at writing abstracts).  A final passing mark will be based on participation in more than half of the assignments. | 
 
| Feedback | 
Formative feedback will include in-class discussions of assignments and CO feedback on written assignments.  In the case of written assignments, CO feedback will be given by the next class session. |
