The course will explore the creative language of textiles and stitch focussing on the use of a wide range of traditional and experimental textile techniques. Students will experiment with hand and machine stitch, fabric manipulation, bonding and fusing with a range of fabrics, paper and plastic. Students will be encouraged to push the boundaries of textile and fibres techniques, producing a range of samples before working on a personal project reflecting their own interests. |

select, edit and present a coherent a range of samples and finished works which demonstrate a creative an informed use of stitch and textiles techniques
