In this course, students will experiment with non-traditional tools and materials such as beads, fabrics and found objects to deploy new techniques such as assemblage and construction to design pieces of jewellery. This course will introduce the uses of basic macrame and knotting techniques, laminating plastic and incorporating textiles and found objects to make a series of tests and samples leading to more independent and personal developed pieces supported by research and contextual awareness. |
