| Summary | As its central theme, this course will concentrate on the role of the developing self in children's education, building on previous Curriculum and Pedagogy courses from Year 1 of the programme and, in particular, Education 1a with its focus on child development. The Health & Well-Being (HWB) component of the course will investigate the developing self from a holistic perspective in terms of children's physical, social and emotional health.
. From both a philosophical and religious perspective, the Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies (RMPS) component of the course will focus on the question 'What does it mean to be Human?' as a key feature of students' and children's development. The course will also consider the many inter-connections between these two broad curricular areas. |
