Formal summative written assessment will constitute 60% of the student's grade. Online discussion in both a synchronous and asynchronous environment will contribute further to the final mark. In combination with the submission of electronic course assignments, these elements will provide the remaining 40% of the final mark. |

Learning Outcomes 
    At the completion of this course, the candidate should: 
- Know the effects of sampling variability, clustering, stratification and weighting on survey design and analysis, and know how to adjust for them; 
- Be able to use CSurvey and Epi Info software to design a veterinary field survey; 
- Be able to analyse data from a veterinary field survey, using  Epi Info and WinPepi software.
