| Course description | The course provides grounding in some of the areas of applied epidemiology that are part of public health practice. It provides an introduction to the principles underlying public health practice, such as identifying and utilizing appropriate data sources, screening and surveillance for infectious and non-communicable diseases, and assessment of health programmes. |
