| Review the pathophysiology of benign and malignant colorectal disease; Recommend the management of colorectal emergencies; Critically appraise the procedures employed in diagnosis and management of colorectal disease; Apply a constant and integrated approach to critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas, information and issues; Exercise a high level of autonomy and initiative in professional activities at a level of independent surgical practice |
