| Summary | Students will be introduced to advanced Sanskrit texts in specific intellectual or literary genres such as dharmasastra, kavya, poetics and drama. The course will involve both the translation and analysis of the texts selected for study and investigation of the various scholarly issues relating to them. Students will also be given instruction in the reading of commentarial Sanskrit. |
