| Course description | This course provides the student with the required three month pre-registration clinical workplace experience that is required in order to complete the Diploma/Masters degree.
This workplace experience is taken within the workplace environment and is supervised by Honorary University of Edinburgh clinical tutors. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
| The learning outcomes for this programme are designed to encompass the knowledge, skills and attitude that practitioners must achieve to become physician's assistants-anaesthesia. After completing the twelve required courses of the programme, the pre-registration clinical workplace experience provides the student with an opportunity to consolidate their theoretical and clinical experience, to clearly understand the roles and professional expectations that will be required of a qualified physicians assistant-anaesthesia and allows for further personal and professional development. |
