| Course description | Jewish views of Jesus and Christianity from antiquity to the present day.  It will also consider a range of Jewish texts, including rabbinic literature, medieval disputations, and modern theology and literature. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes 
Students should be able to 1) read and analyse a variety of Jewish textual genres; 2)  demonstrate an understanding of Jewish history in Christian Europe over the past two thousand years; 3) outline a variety of theoretical models for analysing Jewish Christian relations; 4) articulate applications to Jewish-Christian relations drawing from postcolonial theory, feminist theory and post-structuralism.
