| Course description | This is a for-credit course offered by the Office of Lifelong Learning (OLL); only students registered with OLL should be enrolled.
This course focuses on some of the most exciting developments in early Twentieth Century writing. It explores works by modernist authors such as James Joyce, William Faulkner and Jean Rhys, who developed radical new styles, challenging formal and social conventions, and creating innovative works that reshaped our understanding of literature. |

Assessment Information
| Open Studies 10 credit courses have one assessment. Normally, the assessment is a 2000 word essay, worth 100% of the total mark, submitted by week 12.
