| Course description | A dissertation of up to 15,000 words on a topic in Speech & Language Processing approved by the Programme Director. The dissertation will normally report on empirical work carried out (e.g. experiments or modelling), but (with the Programme Director's permission) may be a critical survey of existing literature in the field. |
