| Course description | This course will allow students to explore a possible future career, while developing skills and experience and meeting professional practitioners. Placements are arranged in appropriate host institutions in and near Edinburgh and Glasgow. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes 
| By the end of this course students will have had experience of working within a professional environment. This will allow them to explore and apply theatre skills developed on the course. It will help them to find their own professional and creative identity within the theatre arts. It will also expose them to valuable contacts in the theatre world of Scotland. | 
 
 
Assessment Information 
Internship report - 100% 
The Internship is assessed by the Internship Report, which should be 4,000-5,000 (maximum) words and divided into two sections: Institutional Analysis or Portfolio/Project Analysis Report/Creative Practice Journal ¿ depending on the activity undertaken and an Academic Research Essay. (Note that the two sections are not marked separately from one another; rather your Report is given one overall mark reflecting a balanced view of your achievement in each section of the Report.)
