| Course description | Indicative course content 
Students should define, collect and analyse a chosen area of research and present a body of work that underpins studio practice. 
 
Aims of course 
1 To propose and undertake a personal study plan with clearly defined aims and objectives. 
2 Develop a body of research material that communicates a progression of ideas and a thorough awareness of current fine art practice. 
3 To undertake critical analysis of a focused body of research material.

Learning Outcomes 
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:  
1. Clearly identify and define the conceptual areas of practice through personal exploration and research using appropriate methods.
